Common questions
Questions we hear about Allveri.
What teams ask us before and during an engagement, answered in one place.
What Allveri is
-
Why don't my business units agree on the numbers month to month?
Each system is right about its own records — nothing makes them agree. Allveri connects them into one governed platform so everyone works from the same figures.
-
How can I reduce the time my team spends in spreadsheets?
By retiring the manual workflows. One client got 25+ hours of time back each week after demoting Excel and running reporting from one governed layer.
-
What is Enterprise Intelligence?
A business that works from numbers it trusts, everywhere a decision gets made. Every system connected, every number defined once, and people who know what it means. It is built as a capability you keep, not a project that ends. The platform makes it efficient. The partner makes it yours.
-
What does Allveri actually do?
Connects the systems you run, ERP, CRM, payroll, finance, operations, into one governed source. Defines what every number means, with you. Runs it, so reports, spreadsheets and AI all give one answer.
-
Do we have to use Power BI?
No. Power BI is where we start, in your Microsoft tenant or a white-label portal for teams outside Microsoft. The definitions sit in the layer rather than in any report, so switching to Tableau, or to a different AI provider, leaves every definition where it was.
Getting started
-
How fast can we be live?
Your dedicated Snowflake environment is up within days of kickoff. Pipelines follow immediately, and your sources start landing in it. Modeling and transformations follow as soon as the definitions are locked.
-
We have an analyst, or a warehouse. Where do we start?
We start with the warehouse you already have and build on what's in it rather than replacing it. Your analyst gets documented models they can use and extend, so they stop rebuilding the reports from scratch every month.
-
What happens first, once we decide to start?
Requirements come first: what your leadership needs to know and which systems hold it. Next, your sources land in a siloed Snowflake account of your own, and dbt models are built on top. The meaning layer follows, and the first tools read from it as soon as a definition is signed off by its owner.
-
Our reporting still lives in spreadsheets. Are we too early?
No. One client recognized revenue in a spreadsheet; another assembled its reporting by hand. Your spreadsheets already hold the rules your business counts by, and we write them down before they leave with whoever built them.
-
How do engagements work?
It starts with requirements: what your leadership needs to know and which systems hold it. Then we connect your sources into a warehouse run for you alone, model the data, and settle each definition with the person who owns it; the first tools read from the layer as each one is signed off, and we run the platform from then on. It takes real time from you: a named owner with the authority to decide what a number means, the people who know your systems and their working spreadsheets, and leadership willing to adopt the settled number when it differs from the one reported before.
Working with us
-
Do you work with companies like ours?
Yes, if you run more systems than you have people to reconcile them. Each of our case studies opens on the moment that company called us. Look for the one that sounds like your last quarter.
-
Have you handled our systems before?
Almost certainly. The systems named in our case studies are ones we've built on, and most others connect the same way.
-
Where does Allveri fit in private equity work?
A private equity firm brought us in mid-diligence for paying-user counts its committee needed. Bose Professional's reporting held through its carveout and a move from Sage to NetSuite. Clarion Home Services planned acquisitions, so we built ahead of them: new entities onboard onto the same governed model in weeks.
-
Who is Allveri?
A managed data platform. Clients kept bringing us the same problem, systems that don't agree, so we built the platform to fix it and we run it for them.
-
Is Allveri a software company or a consultancy?
A managed data platform. You run on it, and the engineers and analysts behind it come with it.
-
What does success look like?
The number in the board pack is the number operations sees. Nobody rebuilds a report by hand. Your team can say where every figure came from. Then we keep going.
Ownership
-
What do we keep if we stop working with you?
Your data is yours for good; we are its stewards. You also keep your core definitions, your report assets and the right to use your dbt code as our agreement sets out. The layer is built on an open standard, so another team can pick it up and read it without us.
-
Who owns the data and the models?
You do. Your data is secure with Allveri, but it belongs to you — and all modeling happens in one governed layer that serves as both the source of truth and the documentation.
Pricing
-
What does it cost?
Two parts: a monthly fee for the managed Allveri data platform, and any implementation and advisory work, on a consulting basis. We size both to your business, and the first conversation is about fit. The proposal comes straight after, scoped to what you need, with the pricing laid out so you can budget without surprises.
