What is Allveri
Everything in, anything out.
What we run, what we create for you, and how the numbers come out the same wherever they're seen.
The starting point
Does this sound familiar?
"Ops and finance have different numbers for the same month."
Both are right about their own records. Nothing makes them agree.
"Closing the month means a week in spreadsheets."
The week goes to assembling the numbers, not using them.
"People are pasting company data into AI tools we never approved."
They go around tools that can't answer their questions.
"Every new location reports it their own way."
The company total gets negotiated, and the board sees the version that won.
What Allveri does.
Your business runs on systems that were never designed to agree with each other.
Allveri works with your team to define what every number in your business means, in a documented layer you own, and runs it on one platform in place of a dozen separate data tools, without tying you to one AI provider.
Two pillars
A platform we run. A partner you gain.
The platform
Your sources land in a Snowflake account run for you alone. dbt models the data, the meaning layer holds every definition, and Power BI, a spreadsheet or whichever AI you choose reads it. We build it, monitor it, secure it and keep it current, so the work underneath your numbers never stops.
The partner
People who learn how your business runs before they model it, settle every definition with the person who owns it, and keep building after the first reports ship. A platform alone leaves the hard work with you. This is the part that does it with you, for as long as we work together.
Find the threads
Every source lands in a siloed Snowflake account we set up and run for you alone, and we trace what the records share, like the customer in your CRM and again in billing. Integration without this step produces a warehouse full of data that still doesn't agree.
Define the meaning
dbt shapes the raw tables into models we test and document, so the data is fit to carry meaning. Above it we write the governed semantic layer: revenue defined once, with a named owner and a lineage back to the source rows.
Deliver anywhere
Power BI is the default, with each report shaped for its reader: the location manager checking today's schedule and the CFO preparing the board pack get different views of one layer. A spreadsheet, a plain-language question or an AI agent draws on it too.
What you own
You own the layer every tool reads from.
Because it is built on an open standard, it works as a Rosetta Stone: each tool that arrives reads your definitions in its own language.
Your source systems
The meaning layer
Definitions with owners and lineage
Any tool you choose
The meaning layer, a governed semantic layer above the modeled data, holds one definition per metric, each with an owner and a lineage you can follow. Changing reporting tools or AI providers later means pointing the new one at definitions you already have. Clients who ask us for a dashboard hear this first: one built without the layer becomes one more version of the number.
Example

- the controller, who signs off on changes
- Draws from
- Sage Intacct invoices, ServiceTitan jobs
- Rule
- invoiced amount, less refunds and credits
- History
- every change logged, with who made it and why

The architecture
The technology stack, and where your data lives in it.
Our orchestration moves data into Snowflake, where dbt makes it usable. Above it, the semantic layer carries the meaning; Power BI is its default reader, and Loop writes back to your systems. When a number changes, you can trace why.
Where your data lives
- Your warehouse is a siloed Snowflake account we run for you alone; your team sees what we agree to expose.
- Nothing reaches a report until it has been staged and validated against its source.
- Development, QA and production stay separate, so a change is tested before anyone reads its numbers.
- Access is granted by role, and reporting runs on its own compute instead of queuing behind data loads.
How the data moves
- Analytics ingestion only reads from your sources; it never writes to them.
- When systems must stay in step, sync fires on events, retries failures and flags any write it cannot land.
- Direct handoffs send a new CRM client straight to billing, with no wait on the warehouse.
- Jobs are versioned and scheduled, and a failed run alerts us before anyone opens a stale report.
How it stays safe
- Credentials live in a secrets vault and never appear in code.
- Your account is siloed from every other client's and runs on network-isolated compute.
- Retention is set per data domain, so payroll history and campaign data follow different rules.
- Your data is never used to train models.
The operating model
You decide what the numbers mean, and we build everything underneath.
What your team already knows about the business gets documented as definitions and requirements. We do that work with you and run the platform from then on. The reports can live in your tenant or in our client portal based on your needs.
What we need from you
- Decisiveness
- Someone with the authority to choose settles what a number means when two directors count it differently.
- Commitment
- The people who know your business best shape every definition.
- Transparency
- The working spreadsheet and the odd column come to the table, so every definition matches how the business runs.
- Adaptability
- When the settled number differs from the one reported before, leadership adopts it and plans from there.
What Allveri brings
- Experience
- Earlier engagements taught us which questions to ask first, like whether a rescheduled visit counts as a cancellation.
- Honesty
- Your owner sees both definitions and what each does to the number, welcome or not, before anything is built on it.
- Rigor
- Every change is tested and versioned with its documentation, so last year's figure still carries the reason behind it.
- Dependability
- We run the machinery as one whole on our side, from loading to monitoring, so everything stays in step.
The economics
Building this takes a lot of engineering work, and we've already done it.
This work needs multiple engineering disciplines, from pipelines to security, and with Allveri you get all of these skills without needing to grow your team.
| With Allveri | Built in-house | |
|---|---|---|
| Team | With AllveriAll engineering disciplines are covered from the first day, and we scale automatically as you grow. | Built in-houseFive specialist roles to recruit and manage, and the salaries that support them. |
| Time | With AllveriWe've built on these systems before, so there's no hiring and no ramp-up. | Built in-houseRecruiting and ramp-up come first, and the business keeps running on spreadsheets the whole time. |
| Tools | With AllveriOne platform replaces a dozen tools, and you're not beholden to one AI vendor. | Built in-houseA dozen tools to license and wire together, each with its own renewal date and risk. |
| Risk | With AllveriEvery definition is documented with an owner and managed in perpetuity. | Built in-houseKey-person risk: the logic lives in someone's head, and it leaves when they do. |
| Upkeep | With AllveriOur engineers monitor and maintain the platform for as long as we work together. | Built in-houseYour best people maintain the infrastructure instead of using it to make decisions. |
Where to start
Start where your data is today.
Every tier starts with a look at what you already have. We'll recommend the one that fits, right-sized to your needs. Every tier is built for AI - the only difference is how much of it we run for you.
-
Tier 1
Connect
- What
- Your sources flowing into a governed warehouse set up for you alone
- Who
- For teams whose analyst can model, once the sources land in one place.
- Why
- You own the raw data before you decide anything else.
-
Tier 2
Foundation
- What
- Modeled, tested, documented data in dbt: usable, and able to carry meaning
- Who
- For teams who use the data every day and have no engineer to shape it.
- Why
- Reports and later tiers all stand on these models.
-
Tier 3
Intelligence
- What
- The meaning layer, with reporting at every altitude, plain-language query, and AI enablement on it
- Who
- For leaders who debate whose figure is right, with AI on the agenda.
- Why
- The CFO can quote the layer's figures without a caveat.
-
Tier 4
Horizon
- What
- AI built and deployed against the layer, and Loop writing results back to your systems
- Who
- For teams who trust the layer and are asking what AI should act on.
- Why
- Your people learn when to trust an AI answer and when to check it.
Common questions
What teams ask us before the first conversation.
Answered here, so the first conversation can be about your systems rather than ours.
-
Do we have to use Power BI?
No. Power BI is where we start, in your Microsoft tenant or a white-label portal for teams outside Microsoft. The definitions sit in the layer rather than in any report, so switching to Tableau, or to a different AI provider, leaves every definition where it was.
-
We have an analyst, or a warehouse. Where do we start?
We start with the warehouse you already have and build on what's in it rather than replacing it. Your analyst gets documented models they can use and extend, so they stop rebuilding the reports from scratch every month.
-
What do we keep if we stop working with you?
Your data is yours for good; we are its stewards. You also keep your core definitions, your report assets and the right to use your dbt code as our agreement sets out. The layer is built on an open standard, so another team can pick it up and read it without us.
-
What happens first, once we decide to start?
Requirements come first: what your leadership needs to know and which systems hold it. Next, your sources land in a siloed Snowflake account of your own, and dbt models are built on top. The meaning layer follows, and the first tools read from it as soon as a definition is signed off by its owner.
Data as an Asset, Not an Output.
Reports are easy. Agreeing what the numbers mean is the hard part, and that's what we build with you. We've seen a new CFO inherit a stack of reports that wouldn't tie out, and no way to tell which number to trust.
